Building stronger leaders, teams and workplace cultures

As work becomes faster and more automated, human skills are becoming a real competitive advantage. Communication. Trust. Psychological safety. Emotional intelligence. Conflict navigation. Inclusive leadership. Collaboration under pressure. These are the skills that shape how people work together every day - and the skills traditional training often fails to build.

That’s why we created UNLRN. We help organisations strengthen leadership, communication and inclusion through experiential learning designed to create real behavioural change, not just awareness. Trusted by organisations including Google, Nike, Roche and Omnicom, we combine behavioural science, immersive facilitation and live practice to help people build the human skills modern workplaces demand.

Our Story

We started UNLRN in 2020 with a simple idea: workplace learning should feel human, practical and genuinely useful - not like a tick-box exercise.

Coming from backgrounds in psychotherapy, acting, advertising and publishing, our co-founders started experimenting with more interactive and creative ways to help people navigate difficult conversations, build trust and lead inclusively. We tried live role-play, facilitated reflection and emotionally realistic workplace scenarios that encouraged people to practise, not just listen. We gathered feedback from hundreds of people on what worked and what didn’t, and that shaped everything we built afterwards.

As demand grew, so did our work - from inclusion to broader leadership and communication development. Along the way, we partnered with specialist DEI practitioners, embedded trauma-informed facilitation into our approach and stayed committed to supporting grassroots social justice causes through our work.

Today, we partner with global organisations including Google, Nike and Omnicom to help people communicate better, lead more effectively and build cultures where teams can do their best work.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that stronger communication and healthier workplace relationships are not just “soft skills” - they directly shape performance, creativity, retention and the ability for people and organisations to thrive together.

Our Approach

Most workplace training is forgettable. UNLRN is built differently. We use immersive practice, behavioural science and realistic workplace scenarios to help people build stronger communication, leadership and collaboration skills - through doing, not just listening.

  1. Interactive: live exercises, Mentimetre polls, discussion and participation

  2. Dynamic and expert-led facilitation

  3. Supportive learning environments focused on progress over perfection

  4. Clear and accessible approaches to complex people and culture topics

  5. Storytelling and realistic workplace scenarios that make learning stick

  6. Trauma-informed and inclusive communication throughout
